Our kayak tour guides are part of a team that enjoys the outdoors and working with the public. Candidates must have a lifeguard certification but other certifications are a plus. Our guides are responsible for ensuring guests have a great time on the water along with sticking to strict safety protocol. Guides will need to set up, switch out kayaks each tour and put gear away depending on shift. There will be paid training.
Pay starts at $18/hour
Guides will have the following responsibilities:
- Need to lift 50 pounds constantly
- Be able to drive company vehicles with trailer (training provided)
- Understand changing conditions on the lake and how to read them
- Ability to do a water rescue
- Be able to work when needed. Extra hours are possible
- Able to work in a fast paced environment that constantly changes
- Work at multiple locations
- Clean driving record
- Take pictures for guests

Shuttle bus drivers are the people who get our guests around. They need to be comfortable driving a 12 or 14 passenger shuttle bus. Guests are picked up at our shuttle locations and checked in through our booking software. Shuttle drivers will need to confirm guests that are on the tour and issue life vests. Sometimes dogs will be on the tour so must be comfortable with them. There will be paid training.
Pay will start at $16/hour
The following will be necessities of the job:
- Able to lift 50 pounds (sometimes helping guides with kayaks)
- Clean driving record
- Able to check in guests
- Ability to drive trailer (training provided)
- Be outgoing and keep guests engaged during ride (10 minutes each way)

The operations manager will be responsible for overseeing day to day operations. They must have management experience and be willing to work any position. They will help with training, safety meetings, some scheduling, willing to work long hours on occasion, deal with guests when needed and be sure employees are doing their operations.
Pay will be depending on experience and negotiable.
The following will be needed for the position:
- Able to use excel and word
- Able to use booking software
- Ability to adapt to a fast paced environment
- Willing to be sure that staff is trained and understands assignments
- Help out where needed
